Yoga practices of asana, tantric philosophy, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, myth & ritual.

New for 2021

We 3 sisters are changing up the way we offer our 300 hours yoga teacher training, continuing education and immersive community. In the past year, we have been called to pause, reflect, reevaluate our values, our choices, our lifestyles. We are being called to realign with our vision for a school of yoga which is open-minded and committed to healthy change and growth. We feel that our teachings are best received live and in person. Live community is essential to our program so we are postponing future modules (40 hours each module) till we can meet again in person.  In the meantime don't worry - we still got you! We are offering special livestream & recorded practices for each of our modules, so you can dip a toe in and still receive the Love!
Every module is designed to take you deeper into your heart and to leave you feeling refreshed.
If you are actively teaching, you will leave these modules prepared and inspired to share with your students.

SNAPSHOT OF OUR DAY

Begin each morning and afternoon with yoga philosophy. We will enjoy daily satsang, where we reflect deeply upon the topic through journaling, and engage in meaningful conversation. Following the lecture/discussion, we practice asana. You will learn the mechanics of how to create the pose from the inside-out and in alignment with your own deepest nature. Other important practices include pranayama, meditation, mudra, mantra, all of which will be woven throughout the days’ practices. Although this describes a typical day, the schedule may vary due to guest teachers and special sessions.

COMMUNITY

We consciously create safety to give and receive feedback to support growth. The community we build together will encourage each of us to delve into parts of our nature yet unknown, to give voice and cultivate those parts to share with the world! Spiritual study requires solitude and self-reflection, and yet collective study is often where we receive our most powerful and lasting insights. When we do yoga together, difficult practices become easier. We help each other grow in ways that we could not do alone!

METHODS

The practices are the tools we use to shift ourselves into ever-deeper, subtler experiences of ourselves. We teach you to teach step by step.

We believe artistic expression and enjoyment are essential to living. We are committed to doing our part to help create a more equitable and just world. In every module, we shape esoteric teachings into accessible everyday engagement.

Your teacher training leaders are 3 sisters who love yoga. They are skilled in leading you through practices in ways that will connect you deeply to your core and bringing you back to reintegrate into daily life. They are well-versed in tantric yoga philosophy, effective strategies for navigating challenges, and practices that remind us to love our lives. Tantric philosophy is at the core of our tradition. Tantra is vast in scope, but in a nutshell, it espouses that everything we experience is divine. As a methodology, tantra teaches us practical ways to cultivate our lives so that we savor the divine through our everyday experiences. In addition to tantra, we will educate you on other important philosophies that have shaped the yoga tradition, including the Classical, Vedanta, and Bhakti traditions.

Yoga is my home base. It is the place where I lay my head, pour my weight, trust myself, find courage, and quieten or stimulate my mind into creative, flowing, joyous thinking. I have practiced yoga since 1990 and am a Yoga Alliance 500 E-RYT since 2007. Yoga class is the place where I meet friends, old and new and commune with the great teachings and practices of yoga. My studies have delved into a range of styles with incredible teachers.
Yoga is the time to steady & still the mind. It can also be a time of great upheaval- where falsities are dislodged, and truths are suddenly, viscerally clear.

I was introduced to yoga and Eastern philosophy as a child by my father, and began developing my practice as a teenager. I started teaching in 2000, earned certification in Anusara yoga in 2003, and taught at Anusara’s first Yoga Journal Conference. Yoga philosophy is a great passion of mine, and I continue to study actively with Douglas Brooks. My teaching is infused with yoga wisdom that applies to modern life. My classes are engaging, flowing and instructive. Through a balance of flow and alignment cues, I hope to empower each student.  I am an advocate of practicing yoga in all aspects of life, including my roles as wife and mother.  My vision is that all of us who are willing shall be empowered to build our lives on structures of love and truth.

I am a mother, mountain girl, traveler, teacher/student, lover of life.
How do we show up in the world and skillfully, gracefully work and play with whatever life is offering us? This is one of the questions that fuels my practice and teaching. My classes combine a lighthearted approach to asana and philosophical wisdom passed down to me through the teachings of many masterful teachers. I offer pranayama, meditation, myth, mudra, and plenty of space to invite self inquiry.
I see my life's experiences as opportunities to learn how to engage more deeply with yoga. Yoga has steadied me in times of chaos, cradled me in heartbreak, encouraged me to grow in ways that continue to surprise me, and dances along with me in times of happiness. In my practice, I am reminded of a deep abiding joy. The teachings and practices of yoga nourish and enrich my life. For that, I am grateful.
